Quantum Research Launches the AI Founding Partner Program

Quantum Research today launched the AI Founding Partner Program, a forward-deployed approach to clinical-trial AI: each partner gets its own site-selection engine, built and trained entirely inside the partner’s own cloud. The engine learns from that partner’s own trial history — and because that history never leaves the partner’s environment, it cannot become training data for anyone else. Your data trains your model. Not ours, not a competitor’s.

Adopting AI for feasibility has long carried an uncomfortable trade-off: to use the model, a CRO hands over its most valuable asset — its enrollment history — to a vendor whose model then serves its competitors too. More often than not, the project never survives the security review. The AI Founding Partner Program removes the trade-off at the architecture level, not with a promise.

Every CRO in a bid can license the same market intelligence: the same trial databases, the same real-world evidence, the same public registries. The data that actually predicts enrollment — years of a CRO’s own studies, its own sites, its own investigators, its own screening outcomes — is already in-house and almost entirely unused.

It has stayed unused for a reason. Turning it into a predictive engine means resolving the same site across a dozen systems that don’t agree on what a site is, learning from outcomes that are sparse and uneven, and doing all of it inside a perimeter the data isn’t permitted to leave. That build has never reached the top of a CRO’s roadmap.

Quantum’s engine is calibrated against the partner’s own trial history and ranks sites and investigators by measured track record in studies like theirs. Because it learns from the partner’s own record, it works globally — in every market that partner has run trials in, not only the markets where public data happens to be rich. Where local data is thinner, the engine reports lower confidence rather than guessing.

It’s that the data that predicts enrollment sits across systems that don’t agree on what a site even is, the outcomes are sparse, and none of it is allowed to leave the building. We built for that constraint instead of around it — the engine trains where the data already lives, and nothing that comes back to us could reconstruct a partner’s records.

Each partnership begins with a 90-day deployment: the embedded Quantum team runs feasibility and site selection on the partner’s live pipeline while the partner’s own engine is stood up and trained inside the partner’s cloud.
